Pam Hurd

Pam is a native of Stillwater, Oklahoma and attended Oklahoma State University and studied art. Pam is an experienced preschool teacher and has worked with children ages 2, 3, and 4 at New Haven, where she has taught for 20 years. Currently, Pam team teaches our older two’s class with Stefanie Kelly.

Pam is a member of Friends of Early Education and has attended workshops in the areas of developmental characteristics of young children, emotional and social development of the child, guidance and discipline, manipulative play, music and science. In addition, Pam is certified in Infant/Child CPR and basic first aid.

Pam is married to Bob, and they have two daughters. Stacie and her husband, Raydon, live in Enid, Oklahoma and Heather lives in Orlando, Florida with her two children Nicholas and Morgan.

When summer time comes Pam is an instant Floridian! Pam and Bob have a second home in Mt. Dora, Florida and it is no coincidence that their grandchildren live just a few miles from there. In addition to her grandchildren, Pam enjoys arts and crafts, floral designing, antiquing, reading and traveling.
